6 months! Woah where did the time go? Here is the latest installment of DUGH just in time for Christmas, happy holidays. Hope you all don't misbehave to much Tracklisting 1. Gravity (Mike Jules Mid 90s Basement Mix) - Rob Clarke - Headtunes July 11, 2011 02:52 AM PDT
DUGH is back again! Been a long time coming and we have some quality tunes for you. The much anticipated, monster or a release from Brain Kat - Kat Got The Kreme Vol 1. drops today. Something for everyone there including a debut by yours truly! Sonny Fodera continues the onslaught of good tunes, this time with a release on his label Beatdown. That EP also features some work from Jackin' Keys Maestro Wattie Green. The Random Soul boys dropped another top EP recently too, I managed to fit two of their tracks on this mix. Squeezed in there with RSR is The House Inspectors. Their latest release features a remix by Lunabass, who gives Lookin Good a smashing rework. Jeremy Joshua has been very busy the past few months; we have 2 tracks from him including the delitfully dirty Diggy Bomb Doo. Tracklisting 1. Hijacked Funk - Fergus - Jump To This April 05, 2011 05:14 AM PDT
Some great tunes out right now =) AND it's DUGH's 1st Birthday! Speaking as the guy who puts this all together I didn't really think I'd last for this long, but there you go! Here is to another year of Down Under Ground House =) Tracklisting 1. Lose Myself - Sonny Fodera feat Bru Fave & Ron E - SHE Recordings March 09, 2011 04:58 AM PST

DUGH is back with some Christmas goodies, albeit a tad late! I hope you all had a great Holiday and are ready for some DUGH. We got some new stuff from Sonny Fodera which is a bit different to his normal sound. More on the deep driving side of the spectrum. Light it Up by Fergus features from a Brain Kat release last month, and is a tidy little number. Perth boys Tom Drummond and JMC produce the goods with their respective releases The Funk Formula and Hippies out on Union records. And a debut from yours truly, with a freebie track I'm giving up as a christmas gift. This podcast is a bit different to the usual ones in that there is some heavier stuff in the last half. Let me know what you think of it =) Tracklisting 1) Hungover (Will Jax) - Rob Wu - Monokini
Until next time, you know what to do! (DUGH:005) September 2010October 05, 2010 06:54 AM PDT
Welcome back to another episode of DUGH! Personally I'm quite an excited man as several House acts such as Gramophonedzie, Go Go Bizkit and Stacey Pullen will be gracing our sures shortly. House is well and truely alive in the Aussie House scene. As are our artists! First off a big shout for The House Inspectors who have released a couple of fine booties for FREE, (one is featured in this mix), if you want one head over to their soundcloud page. Delicious! All the usual suspects have been releasing tracks over the last two months so have a listen! On with the music Tracklisting See you all next month! July 2010August 02, 2010 07:30 AM PDT
July 2010 has been and gone and it's been another busy month down under. Before I get started I just need to send a shout out to Illegal Cargo and their single release The Drunk by Susy Seven & Boryss Moog. It was on my pick list for this episode and I somehow missed it while doing the mix, d'oh! Once again DUGH is thick with Adelaide talent, there must be something in the water there because Sonny Fodera, Will Jax and The House Inspectors have been on some kind of music crack for the last few months. This month from Brain Kat we had two release. The latest being the Reusable EP from Aarin F who has been working tirelessly in the local scene for a few years now with Lucid Dreaming and is making his mark as a meticulous tech house producer. James Francis's deep house remix of Friends of None was a good deep re-interpretation of the original. Moshun also comes through with a nice funky number from their EP Let it Go - I can't find anything about them on Google so I'm assuming this is their debut release. Nice one if so! EDIT: Just been told by Mr Ben Jam that Moshun is John Symms and Lee Eden from Kinky Movement. Should of known that one! Tuck in Tracklisting Stay tuned to DUGH I'm going to start work on a new show dedicate to un-released freebies. Until then keep it under ground! June 2010June 30, 2010 06:59 AM PDT
Episode 3 is finally here! I've been a bit busy lately and it would of been up earlier had Stompy not decided to go a bit nuts on us last weekend. But it's all good because I finally have a wicked summary of June's Down Under House releases. You can really tell it is summer in the northern hemisphere with Will Jax, Dave Miller and Rob Hayes opting for a more light funky summer in their respective releases. We've got a double from Will Jax and Sonny Fodera as both had some wicked releases in the last month. I have also selected an additional track from Kiwi house label HuHu. I figure there is no reason Down Under shouldn't encompass our brothers and sisters accross the strait. On with the music! Tracklisting Feel free to leave a comment and spread the love, Until next time, May 2010May 08, 2010 10:14 PM PDT
Welcome to episode 2 of DUGH, A lot has been coming out recently most noteable is Sonny Fodera's new releases on Blockhead and Salted Music. He had gone a bit quiet recently - probably because he is to busy playing to gigs all over USA and Europe. Illegal Cargo came through with a cool ep The Summer Sampler Vol 1. (I found it on iTunes after some hunting around, I couldn't seem to find it on Stompy.com or Traxsource.com) with some good numbers on it that had me longing for summer to return. Brain Kat has also be very busy the last month with their latest release producing the goods again, my favourite on the EP was Funk Till You Jack. Random Soul Recordings dropped a Outta Sight Outta Mind mid April. Has some really soulful numbers on it, I found Little Things to my liking on this EP. My favourite release for this month was the Sliced n Diced EP from The House Inspectors, Someway is a bouncey number that is everything I love about house music. And now onto the music! Tracklisting
Of course feel free to leave comments with feedback or if you know any Aussie artists that should appear on DUGH. Until next time keep it underground, News
